Adventurous training ensures that our soldiers have the opportunity to push their courage and confidence levels well before they get involved in combat operations.
The army operates adventurous training centres around the world including Germany, Canada, Cyprus, Brunei and Belize. The range of AT options are extensive and include parachuting, sailing, skiing, cycling, climbing, caving, hiking, horse riding, kayaking.
The choices allow our soldiers to see the world and push themselves to their limits in a safe and secure manner. The best bit is the army covers the majority of the costs making our soldiers better prepared for combat operations and more effective as a team, whilst exploring the world.
